Journal Policies

Fusion of Multidisciplinary Research, An International Journal (FMR) is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal published by Fusion Proceedings, Netherlands.
All policies follow the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing (COPE | DOAJ | OASPA | WAME).

1. Open Access Policy
FMR provides immediate open access to all published content.
Readers may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles and may reuse them for any lawful purpose without seeking permission from the publisher or authors.
There are no subscription or access fees.

2. Copyright and Licensing Policy
Authors retain full copyright of their published work.
By submitting to FMR, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish, archive, and disseminate their articles; this license does not transfer copyright.
All articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), permitting unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original author(s) and source are credited.

3. Peer Review Policy
FMR follows a double-blind peer-review process.

  • Reviewers and authors remain anonymous.

  • Each submission is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers for originality, technical quality, and relevance.

  • The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision based on reviewer recommendations.

  • Average review time: 4–6 weeks.

4. Publication Ethics and Malpractice
FMR adheres to the COPE Code of Conduct.
All participants in the publication process are expected to uphold integrity, transparency, and ethical research practices.
Misconduct—including plagiarism, falsification, duplicate submission, or fabricated data—may result in rejection or retraction following COPE guidelines.

5. Archiving and Repository Policy
All published articles are digitally archived and preserved by Fusion Proceedings.
Authors are encouraged to deposit their accepted or published versions in institutional or subject repositories.
Permanent access is ensured through recognized indexing and archiving services.

6. Author Rights and Responsibilities
Authors may:

  • Reuse, adapt, and distribute their work for any lawful purpose (including commercial use).

  • Deposit preprint or postprint versions in repositories.

  • Reproduce the article in books, theses, or lectures with citation to FMR.

Authors must:

  • Ensure the originality of their work.

  • Obtain permissions for reused content.

  • Include all legitimate contributors as co-authors.

  • Disclose funding sources and conflicts of interest.

7. Plagiarism Policy
All manuscripts undergo plagiarism screening before peer review.
Submissions with similarity > 15 % are returned for revision or rejection.

8. Article Processing Charge (APC)
To cover editorial, production, and online hosting costs, Fusion of Multidisciplinary Research, An International Journal (FMR) charges a fixed Article Processing Charge (APC) of USD 500 per accepted article.

  • The APC is mandatory and uniform for all authors worldwide.

  • There are no submission fees, page charges, or color charges.

  • Payment is requested only after the article is accepted for publication.

  • The APC does not affect open-access status; all articles remain freely available under CC BY 4.0.

9. Withdrawal and Retraction Policy

  • Withdrawal: Authors may withdraw a manuscript before acceptance by written request.

  • Retraction: Published articles may be retracted for proven misconduct or serious errors, following COPE Retraction Guidelines.
    Retraction notices remain permanently linked to the original DOI for transparency.
